symptoms of Gaucher disease?

The signs and symptoms of Gaucher disease vary from one person to another.
Some people have very mild symptoms and live for years with the disease before being diagnosed. Others have very severe symptoms.3

People with Gaucher disease can experience one or any combination of
symptoms. Symptoms also vary depending on the type of Gaucher disease a person has.6,7

Common signs & symptoms

  • Low haemoglobin (anaemia)
  • Low platelet count
  • Enlarged liver
  • Enlarged spleen
  • Bone pain
  • Bone disease
  • Fatigue
  • Easy bruising

Less common signs & symptoms

  • Heart and lung problems
  • Alterations in understanding, memory, judgement and/or reasoning
  • Seizures
  • Dementia
